New outpatient services at the Laurel The Laurel Medical Office Building is more than a primary care clinic—it’s a convenient destination for outpatient healthcare services. Located at 108 Medical Drive in Seguin, the Laurel brings together primary care, imaging and laboratory services in one modern location, making it easier for patients to access the care they need close to home. Whether you’re visiting your primary care provider, having lab work completed or receiving diagnostic imaging, the Laurel offers a convenient, connected experience designed with patients in mind. Imaging The Laurel Imaging Center offers digital x-ray, CT and ultrasound services Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Walk-in digital x-rays are available with a provider order. CT and ultrasound exams can be scheduled through GRMC Imaging Services. MRI services are expected to be available later this fall, expanding access to advanced diagnostic imaging right here in Seguin. Laboratory The Laurel also offers outpatient laboratory services Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patients can receive blood draws, including glucose tolerance testing, with a provider order. Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are not required. By offering multiple outpatient services in one location, the Laurel makes healthcare more convenient while helping patients spend less time traveling between appointments. Advanced imaging powered by AI Guadalupe Regional Medical Center is proud to be one of the first hospitals in the region to offer the AIassisted uDR® Aurora X-ray System. This advanced technology uses artificial intelligence to assist with patient positioning and image processing, helping improve image quality while reducing repeat exams and unnecessary radiation exposure. The result is a faster, more efficient imaging experience and high-quality diagnostic images for physicians. Robert Haynes The Guadalupe Regional Wellness Center has been one of my favorite go-to places since it was built 27 years ago. Its motto is “More Than a Gym” for good reason. The experienced staff and trainers at the center provide something for everyone, for different ages and for a range of fitness levels. Their goal each day is to help you reach your goal, whether that is muscle strength, endurance, cardiac health, athleticism—or even just great fun. In addition to the wide assortment of weights, the Wellness Center provides many daily classes, such as Warrior Strength, yoga, tai chi, Zumba and Muscle Magic. The indoor heated pool provides great activities with regular aquatic exercise classes and open swimming, supported by private locker rooms and showers. For kids as young as 7, our Parisi School provides youth sports performance enhancement, including improved speed of movement and strength in character. Whether training individual athletes or entire teams, athletes see clear results in performance and self-confidence from our programs. I am very grateful to have the Wellness Center available seven days a week—and for the added health benefits it has provided me and hundreds of other members. I encourage you to come visit and to make it a core part of your daily life.
