To add to the many other national and regional awards we have received, we are pleased to be newly designated by Healthgrades as being among the top 10% in the nation for Joint Replacement and a Five Star Recipient for Total Knee Replacement for 2022. Every year, Healthgrades evaluates performance at nearly 4,500 hospitals nationwide for 31 of the most common inpatient procedures and conditions. Their review found that GRMC is a top- tier orthopedics facility, with excellent outcomes and much lower risk of complications. Our board-certified orthopedists, G. Steven White, MD; Jack Deetjen, MD; and Trent Twitero, MD, along with a highly skilled team of nurses, anesthesiologists and therapists, have established a tradition and reputation for orthopedic excellence at GRMC. Their scope includes surgeries of the bone, joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments, including knee, hip, shoulder, hand and foot. They respond to orthopedic trauma emergencies, manage sports injuries and provide adult reconstruction surgery, including degenerative tissues and joint replacements.
