Jonven Attia, MD, Endocrinology Dr. Attia is board-certified in internal medicine and has an impressive educational background, including a multi-year endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism fellowship specializing in the care and treatment of this patient population. Currently, Dr. Attia is completing a chief endocrinology fellowship at the University of Rochester in New York and is excited to move to Texas, where the climate is warmer. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new cultures, cheering on her favorite sports teams and pursuing her passion for exotic cuisines. Dr. Attia will be joining Guadalupe Regional Medical Group in summer 2021. Her office will be located at the Palm Building in the Medical Terrace at 411 S. King St. in Seguin. Joseph Caravella, DO, Hospitalist Dr. Caravella will join GRMC’s Hospitalist team in summer 2021. Since receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Virginia, Dr. Caravella has been caring for patients in Laredo, Texas, and for the past three years has been completing his internal medicine residency through the University of the Incarnate Word. During Dr. Caravella’s educational journey, because he wanted to expand his knowledge of the world and enhance his Spanish literacy, he spent a year in Spain learning the language, so he could use that skill in his care of patients. In his spare time, he enjoys recreational activities such as triathlons, cycling, fishing and skiing. Lance Montgomery, DO, Family Medicine Dr. Montgomery, originally from Gonzales, Texas, is completing his family practice residency at John Peter Smith Hospital (JPS) in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Montgomery completed his medical training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, followed by a residency at JPS, a teaching hospital known for its unparalleled clinical expertise and training. Dr. Montgomery and his wife look forward to coming back to the Seguin area to establish roots and fulfill their passion for serving the community.
